BACKGROUND The Institute has conducted informal assistance and placement in recruitment activity among its membership in recent years. As a consequence, members had urged the Institute to provide a professional, bipartisan facility for employers to draw on that expertise in a particular market with a distinct link to sales.
THE INSTITUTE OFFERING & GUARANTEE 1 PROFESSIONAL NETWORK A broad and comprehensive network of identified professional talent in the market. The Institute has over 4,500 members in Australia and more than 6,600 in the Asian region in addition to a diverse range of contacts in the sales/marketing management field (the offering of recruitment services is not confined to Institute membership). In some cases however, employers will show a preference for Institute membership. 2 EXPERIENCED APPROACH The Institute was formed in 1994 and has grown to be the largest not-for-profit association in its field. The CEO was appointed in 1994 VIEW CEO BACKGROUND. The Director of the Recruitment & HR Consulting Division, Ms Patricia McPherson, has many years experience in senior recruitment and HR management.

Training includes - * Seminars * Professional development to include e.g. Negotiation, Sales, Pricing, Communication, Leadership, Mentoring, Coaching, Training managers to recruit/interview
In some cases such development will be provided by preferred suppliers well known to the Institute 6 HR CONSULTING SERVICES The division offers a Performance management and retention strategy based recruitment with a number of HR consulting services for a project based fee or hourly rate, including * Recruitment (whole package or components thereof, including unique performance management process face-to-face during and post the guarantee 90 day period) * Policies & procedures * Performance management * Retention strategies
The Institute intends to offer Ouplacement services in the future. 7 TRANSPARENCY The division will undertake executive search, however guarantees to membership that it shall not poach or headhunt from existing members. Each position must be advertised - and has to be directly responded to. All processes are transparent and each assignment on a fee for service basis. 8 COST STRUCTURE Full fee Hourly Rates - with minimum upcharge fee Project fee - by negotiation - Advertising - at cost Travel - additional
PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS Retainer fee is 15%. Payment will be invoiced for one-third on appointment, one-third on the delivery of a qualified shortlist and the final third on appointment of an individual to the role. OR Hourly rate (To be discussed with client)
