MEMBERSHIP MATTERS
The Institute welcomes membership from those engaged in sales management, marketing managemant - and from aspiring sales management.

The 'art' of membership is a two-way undertaking, with the Institute seeking to challenge, query, advise, assist, suggest all manner of opportunities and thinking to cause more effective management skills, expertise and experience.  Your support and engagement with the pool of knowledge, that the Institute represents, is a very important contribution to the growth of sales strategy, knowledge, capacity and expertise.

The SMI especially welcomes suggestions from members about ways it can provide more support and assistance to members.

 The various programs, forums and seminar gatherings are designed to avoid the 'same old - same old' approach - rather the Institute seeks to be at the 'leading edge' in providing information and challenging the often accepted norms.  Some of the norms are tried and true and have worked well in the past - but the SMI role is to continually test, challenge and monitor, in order that managers have 'up-to-the-minute' knowledge, ideas and appreciation for ways to sell more product or services.



Finding it hard to lay your hands on vital information, facts, figures, research and useful 'stuff'?? 

Join  the most effective network around.  Membership only works when there is a useful interaction.  Without such an interaction, one or both parties will potentially be disappointed.

The SMI views membership as an active investment into the 'pool of knowledge' which the Instiutute represents.  The Institute offers an array of benefits to members - including discounts to events and forums.
 
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP
You can become a full member for just A$44.00

If you wish a membership CERTIFICATE to be prepared and forwarded the cost will be an additional A$44.00

The membership applies until 31st December each year.  If joining in the last quarter of the year, it will be valid until 31st December in the following year.

Members are at liberty to use the post-numerals SMI after their name on any/all business correspondence.  The Institute will provide a letter confirming your status at any time during the membership (often occurring for inclusion in a CV etc).

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP

The primary membership of the Institute is directed to individuals - who are growing and maintaining their individual careers.

At the request of companies, the Institute board devised to provide a corporate membership offering the opportunity for senior management to participate in membership within the corporate structure. 

The corporate membership investment is A$440 (allowing up to ten individuals to be members of the Institute).
